Text Box: We chose this profession because quite simply, we love dogs. They give so much Love without condition, Loyalty beyond reason and never Judge us for anything we do. Yet they receive so little in return. We recognized the need for quality within the pet grooming and care industry. We created a Salon, Boutique & Bakery, Day Care, Boarding Facility & Training that is different and unique to this area. So many shops are dark, small and un-tidy. They really don’t seem to care about the environment the dogs are left in. We’ve taken the steps needed to provide you with a clean, professional and well managed atmosphere. Our staff is and will always be trained and knowledgeable in the Pet Grooming Industry. We look for just the right people to join our staff In providing the proper care to our customers dogs. We won’t bore you with the same old statements that every business seems to make. We will share with you the fact that your dog will be left with people who truly love dogs. People who care about the kind of service they provide. People who are willing to take the time to make sure your dog has a fun and positive experience and can’t wait to come see us again! We promise that you and your dog will always be greeted with a warm and friendly smile! We want you to leave your extended family member with us feeling confident that they will be treated with the kindness and gentle handling that they certainly deserve. We understand the separation anxiety they are probably already experiencing, and we will use every ounce of patience necessary to help eliminate their stress. We always clean and sanitize our tools and facilities after their use!

Text Box: Leann SNIDER - Professional Dog Groomer Leann grew up in Hudsonville, Michigan and earned her certificate of Dog Grooming through a mentoring program at The Dog House Grooming Salon, LLC. Leann was a natural and quickly picked up the skills needed to become an outstanding dog groomer-as though it is second nature to her. Leann grew up with a German Shepherd, a Yellow Lab, and a Sheltie mix and now shares her home with 2 Pomeranians named "Bella" and "Sasha". Leann recently rescued seven poms from a deserted home where they were left to fend for themselves and found new homes for all of them. Text Box: TARA BUITER - Dog Grooming Department Manager & Professional Dog Groomer Tara grew up in Byron Center, Michigan and graduated from Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Jenison, MI. Tara started with us fresh out of school. As we watched her grow into an exceptional groomer we realized we had found the right person to over-see our grooming salon. Tara teaches our groomer's and watches over them to keep their skills sharp. At five years old she decided she would enjoy styling hair after she tried to style her long haired cat. When it didn't turn out so well, Tara decided a professional education was in order. Since dogs are Tara's favorite animal, dog grooming seemed perfect. Tara grew up with several different dogs. Tara now shares her home with husband Joe, "Heely" a Lab Aussie mix, "Remmy" a Chinese Crested Powder Puff and "Sammy" a Westie . Tara's Motto is: “A Clean dog is a Healthier dog”. Text Box: Amanda Lanser - Doggie Day Care & Boarding Manager & Professional Trainer Amanda grew up in Zeeland, Michigan with many different dogs throughout her childhood. She now shares her home with her new husband Nate and her Golden Retriever "Brady" and a recent terrier rescue dog named Lacie. Amanda is a member of The Humane Society of America and The American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and is a volunteer at Harbor Humane Society. Amanda is a graduate of the Animal Behavior College, based in Northridge, California. Amanda has always had a passion for animals and wanted to know how to communicate with them and understand why they do what they do. Amanda’s natural ability with dogs make her training methods both kind and effective. Amanda's Motto is "A tired dog is a good dog". Text Box: Cassandra Casares - Day Care Coach Cassandra grew up in Fort Worth, Texas with a little white dog named Snowball and 2 Pomeranians named Tiny & Precious. Having pets the whole time she was growing up taught her to appreciate animals and stirred her interest in some day becoming a veterinarian. Cassandra tries to get to know each dog and their individual personalities, which makes her a natural to be playing with the dogs in the daycare each day. Text Box: Text Box: Jackie Smith Administrative Assistant Day Care Coach, Event Coordinator Jackie grew up in Holland and graduated from West Ottawa High School. We have never experienced anyone with such a great passion for children and animals. Jackie's nature is so kind and out going, the dogs just take to her like she is the Pied Piper of animals. Jackie couldn't have chosen a career more suited to her. Jackie volunteers for The Humane Treatment of Animals Society out of Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Jackie shares her home with "Chase", a Chinese Crested Powder Puff and enjoys giving small children rides on a raft around the shore of the pond where she lives assisted by "Winston", her Saint Bernard who just loves his fun job. Jackie will be organizing our future activities and bringing lot’s of fun new events to The Dog House. Jackie's motto is: “Treats should be given sparingly, but love should be given unconditionally”.
